About About WSF West Side Furniture was founded in 1960 by John H McDonald. His goal was to have a quality furniture retail store that was driven by service, customer satisfaction, and products built to last the test of time. The company grew to 4 locations and was a landmark store in each of the communities it served. In 1982 the company was purchased by Mick and Rose Ann Morgan, daughter and son in law to John H McDonald. In 1985 John Morgan, son to Mick and Rose Ann Morgan, joined the company. For the next 22 years they continued to maintain the level of service and expectation of quality home furnishings that was the benchmark of the company. In 2007 as the retail economy declined an opportunity in the RV market was presented to West Side Furniture. John Morgan was appointed to be the head of this distribution venture. Margaret Ellinger from Cedar Creek Forest River pioneered La-Z-Boy recliners in to the RV market and that was the beginning of West Side Furniture’s growth in distribution. In a short time West Side Furniture was able to expand the offerings in not only furniture but the mattress market as well, adding Serta to the line up. In 2013 Patrick Industries purchased West Side Furniture. Mick and Rose Ann Morgan retired and John Morgan continues to manage operations as the Business Unit Director. West Side Furniture has continued to introduce additional products with Simmons Mattress and the new Platinum Series line of furniture. The original goal of John H McDonald stands true today!
